Hey, so you remember Jennifer's call about the date nearly a week ago? She said it was February 8th then so you know that today is February 14th, which you know is a holiday in some countries in the world a lot of us are somewhat familiar with. How it's celebrated really isn't all that important, but it's a holiday designated for love--[ The word is spoken in the only form a tsundere can say it in. ]--so I was honestly expecting this thing here to buzz with a billion love confessions.

[ But enough about her poor love life. ]

As a sign of gratitude for reminding you of the holiday, I'd like to hear your opinions on Miss Beth Yao. A number of you have met her and have been told things about her, haven't you? Consider me curious as to your opinions on her. [ A rare, once in a lifetime opportunity for Rin to give a damn about someone's opinion. Grasp it while you can. ] Surely you have to have something in mind after all we've gone through, right? Well, let's hear it. I don't really have all day to sit around waiting on this stupid phone to entertain me, so be prompt with your replies.

[ For those who do know her, a new scar can be seen creeping out from her turtleneck sweater along her neck. She's done her best to cover it up by wearing this outfit of choice, but maybe she underestimates the phone's camera or just doesn't seem to care about it. ]

Hmm? I can't hear you over the sound of your old command seal not existing anymore. Yeah, it seems you'll have to waste another one if you want me to wait on you hand and foot without complaint. And you're far too wise now to do something like that, I'm certain.

I'll use a Command Seal and it'll be stronger this time since I'm a more capable magus.

Archer, are you trying to goad me into blurting out just any mantra to make you obey?

[ Hmph. ] First of all, I'll have you know that I'm not so easily provoked.

[ She is. ] Second, I just warned you of my increased skill since the last time we met. I could do it.

[ So she thinks. ] Last, I could just command your other arm to punch you in the head over and over again. Do you think that would be just as effective?

[ Pause. ]

[ He sounds like he's rethinking his course of action. ]

Of course I can!

[ In all honesty, she's not sure if she could or not. It's better to keep Archer on his toes in believing that he can though, isn't it? ]

Do you doubt your Master? Your lover? Your roommate?

[swordedpast]

[ Slowly considering. ]

I'm pretty sure I could doubt my roommate.

I might even be able to doubt my Master, though that'd probably be a poor choice.

But my lover--

[ His expression softens. He reaches for her cheek. ]

[gandere]

Could you, Archer?

[ Even with her cheek in his hand, she's not letting go of the subject. ]

[swordedpast]

I can't doubt you, Rin.

[gandere]

Then I see no reason to use a Command Spell. [ Turning her head sharply to kiss his wrist. ] So long as you're obedient like this.

[swordedpast]

[ He opens his mouth to make some smart retort, but her gentle kiss steals away his words. ]

...

I suppose I'm not so disobedient after all.
