[The man on the screen looks banged up and bruised--and, quite frankly, like hell. He just seems exhausted and bemused, not panicking like he probably should be. He'd left the apartment to do a bit of exploring then came back, entirely too exhausted and injured to do much else, but he's got a vague idea of where he is now. Right.]

Yes, hi. Hello? Is this like a Nokia?

[He leans back on the bed he's sitting on.] So I get it. Deserted town. Spooky. I'm past it. It's time to move forward. [He waves his hands vaguely.] I need parts. Durable and solid enough to deal with sustained flight-- You know what, I'll work out the details. I can salvage just about anything, so don't be shy.

And-- [Pause.] Really, is this it? Just this thing? [A bit of shaky cam as he examines the communication device again.] I guess with a few tweaks it'll function on a less...archaic level... So-- Look, am I alone? Am I talking to myself here? I know I'm fantastic to look at, but I'd love some sign of intelligent life here.

There's plenty of scrap metal around the town, if you don't mind the rust and decay. [Pause.] I don't suppose you'd happen to be a blacksmith or armourer, are you?

[She almost makes a snarky comment when she hears the magic 'armourer' word. Then, of course, the audio feed switches immediately to video.

Hey. Sup. Have a super excited ladyknight all up in the camera.]

You're serious?! How heavy of plate can you make? Will it take long?

[She kind of did say she'd trade her left arm for a blacksmith earlier this week. Hopefully nobody comes along to collect on that.]

[Frowning back, although thoughtfully instead of out of anger. you keep your checking out to yourself, sir.]

If you require payment, I'm sure I could scrounge something up. Supplies are hard to come by around here unless you know where to look.
